ÖSD Exam in Ankara: A Special Partnership Between Norden Akademi and TFF International

Norden Akademi is a center that offers German and English language courses in Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara, and also provides study abroad language education and university consultancy services. In 2022, it was authorized as an ÖSD (Austrian German Language Certificate) exam center and offers students a variety of language training and consultancy services.

TFF Akademi will organize German language exams under Norden Akademi through a collaborative partnership.

TFF Uluslararası Akademi, in collaboration with Norden Akademi, operates as an ÖSD exam center in Ankara under the supervision of Norden Akademi, which is active in İzmir and İstanbul. At this center in Ankara, German language courses are delivered by experienced native German-speaking instructors.

In addition, you can attend training and take the exams at the TFF center under Norden Akademi’s supervision to obtain the ÖSD language proficiency certificate required for your consular applications for family reunification, qualified employment, or university education in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.

For the ÖSD Certificate A1 exam, candidates are required to communicate at a basic level in simple everyday situations. The ÖSD Certificate A1 is intended for students aged 14 and above and confirms language proficiency in familiar topics and routine activities.

The ÖSD Certificate A1 exam consists of two modules: a written exam (Reading, Listening, and Writing) and an oral exam (Speaking), primarily focusing on reading and listening comprehension skills.

For the ÖSD Certificate A2 exam, candidates must be able to communicate at an elementary level in simple and routine situations in daily and professional life. Designed for learners of German aged 14 and above, this test provides proof of language proficiency in familiar topics and routine activities.
The ÖSD Certificate A2 exam consists of two modules: a written exam (Reading, Listening, and Writing), which focuses on receptive skills such as reading and listening, and an oral exam (Speaking).

B1

 

ÖSD Certificate B1

 

The ÖSD Certificate B1 exam assesses the ability to use the language independently in everyday and professional situations related to familiar topics and personal interests. A version of the exam is available for students aged 16 and above, as well as a youth version for candidates aged 12 and above.
The exam consists of four modules — Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking — which can be completed independently at different times. The B1 certificate exam is a joint product of ÖSD, the Goethe-Institut, and the University of Fribourg, and is offered worldwide by both ÖSD and the Goethe-Institut.

With the digital test training, you can prepare specifically for the ÖSD ZB1 exam. You can complete the subtests Reading (60 minutes) and Listening (35 minutes) and then review your answers. In the Writing subtest (60 minutes), you can write your own texts, although they will not be graded. For comparison, sample texts are provided at the end as examples.

ÖSD Certificate B2

 

For the ÖSD Certificate B2 exam, candidates must be able to express themselves clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics and engage in spontaneous and fluent conversations with native speakers in a natural and effective manner.

With this test, German learners demonstrate their language skills in communication situations that extend beyond the private sphere into (semi) public and sometimes professional contexts. In their own areas of expertise, they are already able to understand specialized texts.

This exam is intended for candidates aged 16 and above; a youth version is available for participants aged 14 and over. The ÖSD Certificate B2 exam consists of two modules: a written exam (Reading, Listening, and Writing) and an oral exam (Speaking).
